Service areas

A breakdown of the electrical work we perform

01

Electrical installation work

New electrical installations for construction projects, renovations, and property additions. This includes running new circuits, installing junction boxes, and connecting electrical systems to the main power supply. We coordinate with general contractors and work within project timelines to ensure electrical rough-in and finishing stages align with other trades.

02

Electrical rewiring

Complete or partial rewiring of existing properties. Older homes with outdated aluminum wiring, knob-and-tube systems, or undersized circuits often require rewiring to meet current safety standards and handle modern electrical loads. We assess the existing system, plan the new wiring layout, and execute the work with minimal disruption to occupied spaces.

03

Outlet and switch installation

Installation of new outlets, switches, dimmers, and specialty receptacles throughout your property. This includes standard 15A and 20A outlets, GFCI outlets for wet areas, USB-equipped receptacles, and 240V outlets for appliances like dryers and ranges. We also handle upgrades from older two-prong outlets to grounded three-prong systems.

04

Electrical panel installation

Panel upgrades, replacements, and new installations to support your property's electrical demands. Many older homes have 60A or 100A panels that cannot safely accommodate modern appliances, EV chargers, or home additions. We install panels ranging from 100A to 400A depending on your requirements, including sub-panels for detached structures.

05

Appliance connection

Proper electrical hookup for major appliances including ranges, ovens, dryers, hot tubs, air conditioning units, and EV charging stations. Each appliance has specific circuit and outlet requirements—we ensure the correct wire gauge, breaker size, and receptacle type are installed for safe, code-compliant operation.

06

Emergency electrician service

Response to urgent electrical issues that cannot wait for a scheduled appointment. This includes power outages affecting part of your home, burning smells from outlets or panels, sparking fixtures, and tripped breakers that won't reset. We diagnose the problem, explain your options, and perform repairs to restore safe electrical function.

07

Electrical system design

Planning and design services for new construction and major renovation projects. We create electrical layouts that account for your equipment needs, lifestyle requirements, and future expansion possibilities. This includes load calculations, circuit mapping, fixture placement, and coordination with architects and builders during the design phase.

How it works

Our typical approach from initial contact to completed project

1

Initial consultation

We start with a conversation about what you need—whether that's a quick phone call for simple jobs or an on-site visit for larger projects. This helps us understand the scope, timeline, and any specific requirements before providing a quote.

2

Assessment and estimate

For projects requiring site evaluation, we inspect the existing electrical system, identify any challenges, and determine material requirements. You receive a written estimate detailing the work to be performed and associated costs before any work begins.

3

Scheduling and preparation

Once approved, we schedule the work at a time that fits your calendar. We communicate what preparation may be needed on your end—clearing access to panels, moving furniture away from work areas, or coordinating with other contractors if applicable.

4

Execution

Our electricians arrive with the necessary materials and tools to complete the job. We keep work areas as clean as possible, communicate any unexpected findings, and address questions as they arise during the project.

5

Testing and walkthrough

After completing the work, we test all circuits, connections, and fixtures to verify proper function. We walk you through what was done, demonstrate any new systems or controls, and answer questions about operation and maintenance.

Quick answers

How do I know if my electrical panel needs upgrading?

Common signs include frequently tripped breakers, flickering lights when appliances run, a panel that feels warm to the touch, or plans to add high-draw equipment like an EV charger or hot tub. Panels older than 25 years or rated below 100A often benefit from upgrades.

Do you pull permits for electrical work?

Yes, we obtain the necessary permits from the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) for work that requires them under Ontario regulations. This includes panel changes, new circuit installations, and rewiring projects. Permit costs are included in our estimates where applicable.

Can you work on commercial properties?

We serve both residential and commercial clients. Commercial work includes office buildouts, retail space electrical installations, restaurant equipment connections, and maintenance for multi-unit buildings. We coordinate with property managers and general contractors as needed.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Toronto and serve the Greater Toronto Area. Our service area includes Toronto proper and surrounding municipalities. For locations outside the GTA, contact us to discuss your project.

How quickly can you respond to emergency calls?

Response times depend on current workload and the nature of the emergency. True electrical emergencies—active sparking, burning smells, or complete loss of power—receive priority scheduling. Contact us by phone for urgent situations so we can assess and respond appropriately.
